Centenarian Kaveri and Kankubai cast votes in Neemuch district

Immense enthusiasm was seen in women towards voting for the Lok Sabha Election in Neemuch district since morning. One hundred five year old, Kaveri Bai of Ghasundibamni and Kankubai of Chainpura of the district casted their votes. They both reached polling booths along with their grandsons and exercised their voting rights. Similarly, 90 year old Pannalal seated in a wheelchair and assisted by his nephew Ratanlal also visited Amavali Mahal polling booth and casted his vote.


Lactating mothers optimize Crèche


Crèches made at the polling booths for the convenience of lactating mothers were optimized. At the time of voting by Pooja, her 6 months daughter was looked after by the aaganbadi assistant. Sangeeta Bai, who had come with her 7 month old daughter, was also pleased with the facility. She was encouraging her friends over phone describing the comfortable voting.


Laune family facilitates with queue jump facility


When 77 year old Smt. Sushila Laune along with his husband reached Yadav mandi polling booth in Neemuch, she became restless after seeing a long queue. She was finding to cast her vote difficult but was provided queue jump pass by the polling booth officer, which enabled her to cats vote without standing in queue.
