12.60 percent voting till 9.00 a.m. in 8 constituencies of 3rd phase

Voting for the Lok Sabha Election-2019 begun at 18 thousand 141 polling stations in the state under the 3rd phase in 8 parliamentary constituencies i.e. Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Guna, Sagar, Vidisha, Bhopal and Rajgarh from 7.00 a.m. today. Total 12.60 percent voting was recorded till 9.00 a.m. A total of 14.50 percent male voters and 10.43 female voters used their voting rights during this period. The voting is taking place peacefully in all the constituencies.  Before the start of voting, mock poll was conducted at all the polling booths. One hundred 11 ballot units, 83 control units and 243 VVPAT were replaced during the mock poll, owing to the malfunctioning of EVMs at 271 polling stations.
