Quiz open to all government, private school students

Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board is organizing “Madhya Pradesh Tourism Quiz-2019” in two phases for Class IXth to XIIth students of government and private schools of the state. The title of the quiz is “Prashnon ke sahi uttar batao-Hindustan ka dil ghoomkar aao”. The first phase of the quiz will be held at the district level on August 7 and at state-level on September 5. In the second phase an audio-visual/multi-media based quiz will be held between the 6 teams selected in the first phase. Winners of this phase will further take part in the state level quiz.
The purpose of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Quiz is to make school children aware of the rich history, traditions, ancient heritage, cultural colours, art, natural wealth, legendary figures, tourism significance of the state and develop the process of learning in them. In both the phases of the quiz, there will be questions related to tourism of Madhya Pradesh and its related zone, art, spirituality, natural and cultural environment.
The Collector, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat, Representative of District Tourism Promotion Council constituted for promotion of tourism, District Education Officer and a quiz master from the Education Department will assist and coordinate in the district level quiz.
The first 3 winning teams of each district will be given coupons for 2 nights 3 days and 3 runners-up teams for two days one night stay in hotels of Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation. Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board will bear the expenses of transportation, food, lodging, local tour etc. to the concerned tourist destination.
