• Donated ventilators worth Rs 20 lakhs to support patients and communities in Anuppur district, Madhya Pradesh
• The Company also donated infrared thermometers and PPE kits to the district administration
Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh July 13, 2020: Hindustan Power, a leading player in the power sector, recently donated ventilators worth Rs 20 lakhs to the District Hospital in Anuppur for treatment of Covid-19 patients. The company also gave infrared thermometers and five PPE kits to the district administration.
The initiative was undertaken to strengthen the district administration’s fight against the pandemic and ensure the safety and health of the frontline workers. The material was handed over to the district officials by Mr B K Mishra, Plant Head and COO, MB Power ( Madhya Pradesh) Limited.
District Collector Chandramohan Thakur acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of Hindustan Power’s management in the fight against the virus. He also appealed to all institutions in the region to sanitize their workplaces regularly and to ensure mandatory compliance of social distancing. Hindustan Power adhered to the instructions given for smooth functioning including lock-in arrangement for work.
Mr B.K. Mishra said: “As a responsible company, we will continue to extend our support to the government and society and will ensure that our employees follow all precautions and guidelines. These initiatives will complement our ongoing efforts to make the best of care immediately available to those most in need.”
