Centenarian voters welcomed with garlands in Shajapur

Centenarian voters were welcomed with garlands at the polling stations in Shajapur for the Lok Sabha election-2019. The district administration provided them transport and wheelchairs as per requirement to reach the polling station.

108-year-old Bhagwanti Bai of Jhonkar village in Shajapur district cast her vote in polling booth-270. Setting an example of being an alert citizen, 103 year old Kesarbai, of Shajapur city participated in the Mahayagya of democracy. Both the centenarians have been voting essentially in every election without fail.

Disabled couple came from Nagpur to vote

Disabled couple Vinod and Padma Panwar, who work in Nagpur, also came to Shajapur from Nagpur to vote understanding its importance. They exercise their franchise at Piploda Ismail centre.
